The World Trade Server (WTS) is an open platform for interoperability with popular wireless technologies and fronts (including HTML, WAP, SMS, MMS and IVR). Its back-office system includes a sophisticated Personalisation Engine, campaign and promotion management, security mechanisms and a Report and Analysis Generator. It is compliant with 2G technologies with service rollout into 3G, and is scalable to any size of market or subscriber base.
The WTS provides a back-office, real-time trade system that offers content integrity and user, communication and device authentication based on well-known algorithms for identification, verification and authorisation. It supports transparent connectivity to all major database management systems and is interoperable with all platforms, including Unix, Linux and Windows 2000/NT.
The WTS is supported by several proprietary algorithms. These enable functions such as personalising customer information and data mining their preferences and history (with the customer’s agreement) to offer personalised coupons and tickets that match their needs and desires, at the time (provisioning) and place (location-based services) they wish to receive these offers. Other algorithms ensure optimisation of seat offering for scheduled events, as well as advertisement matching to ensure maximum success of coupon and promotion campaigns.
Working in a tiered architecture, control and monitoring of the WTS by system administrators and marketing executives is done on “client” computers on the internal network, using the WTS Desk Top client manager.
The Desk Top manager is the WTS’s client interface. Seamlessly connected to the WTS back-office, the Desk Top manager is an HTML-based editing and monitoring tool that enables companies to configure and maintain various aspects of the mobile marketing and ticketing systems. The Desk Top manager is used to manage all interfaces with the WTS and to administer relevant information.
