Mobicus Learning from Campaigns
Sun, Apr 12, 2009
The key requirement for learning from campaigns is the ability to collect useful data from all interactions a system does with the users. Logged data includes the date and time of the event, the mobile user’s identity, the campaign in relation to the message, the actual message received, the reply sent out and the type of message. When these parameters are combined with the vast amount of information contained in the user profiles, business information can be produced from the Mobicus system.
The reporting tools of Mobicus provide marketers with a comprehensive record of marketing campaigns and customer profiles stored in the registers. The built-in statistical module provides quick access to the statistics. With the statistical tool marketers can:
* examine and export all incoming messages sent by customers
* monitor real-time customer activity using a campaign monitor
* view statistics that illustrate activity for a specific campaign or for the customer register. Statistics for both push and pull messages are presented.
While the reporting tools are primarily intended for marketers, the public may also be given access to certain campaign statistics–for example, the current standings of a voting campaign.
User authentication and access rights within Mobicus ensure that a campaign manager will not be able to view statistics from another–possibly competing–marketer.
The built-in reports include the number of hits (i.e. SMS-MO messages), push messages sent, push messages delivered, response rate, time to response, number of profiles, and the dispersion of the profiles per different properties (such as sex, age or location). New reports can be easily added to the list of available reports based on the business requirements.
Third-party business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Cognos or MicroStrategy can be used in combination with Mobicus for providing in-depth analytics of the collected data by fetching it directly from the database used. For external reporting, Mobicus can be used as the launcher of the external tools, enabling tight integration to the Mobicus user interface.
