Mobicus is a vendor of mobile relationship marketing technology. It is headquartered in Helsinki and employs 10 people.

Mobicus is privately held and owned by Comptel Corporation, Startupfactory and key team members. In addition to its own development, Mobicus also has access to Comptel Corporation’s development resources.

Mobicus, which stands for “mobile customer”, supports the viewing of future campaigns, their start and end dates, and the customer profiles included in the campaign. Separate reports can be viewed that display the planned future campaigns and the amount of push messages that can be sent to each profile. The Mobicus Permissionware technology guarantees that each user will not receive more messages than their current quota.

Marketers can design mobile marketing campaigns and services using Mobicus campaign wizards. The wizards enable users to design and deploy a marketing dialogue with customers. The user typically specifies the messaging content that will be delivered to the customer at each stage of the marketing dialogue. After creating the campaign, the campaign content and logic can be tested using an in-built campaign simulator that allows possible mistakes to be fixed before deploying the campaign.

The product ships with campaign wizards that support, for example, the following campaign types: competitions, digital coupons, sweepstakes, information services, entertainment services, logos, ringtones, registration services, digital newsletters, customer feedback, proof-of-purchase campaigns, voting and surveys. New campaign wizards, either customer-specific or standard, can be added as needed.
